Sounds nice and clear. The production is good on this one. Short tho... Cool riffs too. Sorry to hear about your Mom. Fucking sucks...

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks bro. Glad you like it. I finally figured my sound out a bit better, so should be good for a while. haha. Thanks again man. Hope to catch up with you on msn soon.\m/

Badass

Badass cover there Bad man. Bigger than the devil indeed.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Glad you like it man. Thanks for checking it out!!\m/

Cool.

Nice. Your music is very melancholy. I think you could fill it out more in the beginning a little more . I would like to put a solo over this or something. I think it could use something extra but that's just me...

pitbulljones responds:

I don't know whether i'd personally call my tunes melancholic, but then again each of us interprets music differently. Yea the opening is intentionally sparse, a tune of wintangs got me going and that was pretty empty too. A solo would be cool on this track somewhere. where to put it would be the problem. cheers tho mate.

Nice.

Kicks serious ass. If I ever get off my lazy ass and finish the megadeth cover I was working on you're my first choice for vocals...

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

I hope so dude!!! \m/

Chilled.

I could see this in a game for sure. It's very good at setting a certain mood which I think would work well in a game. If I ever decide to make a game this is one of the tracks I would use... I definitely think you need to make more of this kind of stuff. It loops well too.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

I probably will...granted I have the time and energy. Its weird to make music without an instrument though. haha. Thanks for the review man!

Never heard the original...

...so I don't know if you changed it or not but your vocals are good and the music kicks ass... I'm afraid I have to agree with Darkside tho. On my speakers it's very bassy and hard to hear. Now I'm gonna have to find the original...

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

I emailed you the original, but apparantly your "box" is full...hahahaha.
Yeah, my headphones showed no bassy thing, just a richer sound. So my headphones could be an issue, although...it doesn't sound that bad on my big stereo...which is now connected to the comp for mixin. Hopefully that will help on future sounds. haha. Thanks for the review man!\m/ Glad to see you out and about.
P.S. CLEAN UP YOUR INBOX hahaha:P

Cool.

Wow did you hear about the pig farmer all the way over there in the UK. I use to live real close to where he did his killing over in Port Coquitlam.

This song kicks ass. Nice and brutal. Sounds like Napalm Death. I think your vocals are getting better either that or I'm getting more use to them. Hehe. Great either way... I like the high screaming too.

Gets a five from me...

GoreBastard responds:

Haha, cheers mate! Yeah, it was on the news a while back... What a guy!

The main influence behind this was Napalm Death and Cannibal Corpse so I'm glad my influences are showing!

Haha, cheers for listening mate.

Wow

Well, what can I say about this piece that I haven't said already. You already know what I think about it.
It's amazing and even more amazing when you told me how you made it. You did a good job editing the vocals too. The only thing I would change and this is just nitpicking is the deep bells. Not a huge fan of them. Can wait to hear what you come up with for that piece I sent you...

MaestroRage responds:

Thanks Slayer, i'm glad you liked the piece, like you said when you build a song vocals up there is a lot of restrictions placed upon you. Thankfully LadyArsenic's voice was easily workable into the ideas I wanted to portray through this piece.

I should have gone bell sfx hunting, the bells I used here I had found a year ago, I personally kind of like them, adds that foreboding feeling I wanted to give the piece. I could have done it with a heavily reverbed kick or timpini, but those were too low on the frequency scale to make audible without destroying every other instruments!

In any case, thanks for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Very Interesting.

Very different from your other stuff but it's a good change.

At first if sounds almost like you used a bit of delay on the piano but I don't think you did. Parts of it sound a bit unusual and I can't quite put my finger on why. Which is bugging me. Maybe it's the chaotic feeling I get from it. I'm not sure.

Very unique melody and an interesting change from your other pieces...

MaestroRage responds:

I can't believe I haven't responded to this! My apologize Killer, I did not mean insult (to those reading I responded to this Jan 7th 2007, 5 days after review left), which is quite unacceptable. Again I apologize ^^.

The piano did actually have delay, a healthy dosage of it. The very fast notes and many layers allowed the muddle of the delay sounds to be buried below it while still giving it the feeling I wanted at the beginning.

I think I know what you mean by parts of it being unusual, though I could be wrong, the song was not intended to be held in normal borders ;).

Thank you for the review Killer, i'm glad you liked the piece ^^.

Hey

I've been away for a while but I'm back to review your newest tune. I like it a lot. The drums sound amazing to me. I can hear a metal influence in them like some of the other reviewers were saying as well as some jazz. It's some of your best drum work if you ask me.

This track sounds really great... I'm really impressed by it.

Now I've got some other tunes to listen to and review.

The female vocal samples are really well used as well. Keep it up and you'll be on your way to being really amazing.

MaestroRage responds:

I also spent the most time on them. Some people pointed out that it doesn't quite... work with the melody. I can see where they are coming from, but I personally thought the jazz/metal influenced percussion would add to that whole "game" feel, something to keep the listeners moderately entertained.

Thank you Killer, i'm glad you dropped by, it has been too long since we last talked hasn't it? I hope to see you online again sometime soon ^^.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked the piece.
