You make such wicked music. You're one of my favorites in the classical section & this is one of my favorites by you.... I do hear some dissonance at 0:15 with the horns tho. Might wanna fix that. But other than that nothing else seems out of place. Beautiful melodies BTW. What sample libary are you using?

I guess I added to much reverb to the horn section. :P I'll fix that, and a couple of other problems I am hearing in the piece. :D
Well, to tell you the truth, I don't use VSTs. I use soundfonts because I don't really understand how to use VSTs very well. :P But I got most of my soundfonts from www.hammersounds.net, and I had to search around the internet for a couple of the libraries I use. :P When I get Reason 3, I'll start using VSTs more. :)

Really great tune there. I like it alot. Love the synth too. How do you get your tone. I'm jealous of it... I would like to work on a collab with you someday. We could make some wicked music.
Yeah a collab would be sweet. If you have any ideas for a song just email me...or I'll email you if I get any ideas for one. And as for my tone..I just got it from playing around with effects. If you want I could email you with more information on my tone. Anyways thanks for the sweet review!

Nice cover. Sounds alot better than the other version, especially with the synth in the mix. I haven't heard the original so I don't know how close it is to that but this sounds pretty good.
If you don't mind me giving some suggestions, I'd suggest using some more variations on the velocity of the drums and maybe alternating between a left and right sample for the bass drum to make it sound less mechanical. Unless you want it to sound mechanical...

Switch plays the guitar in the left speaker and the bass. I'm more in the right speaker and did the drum and mixing. I gotta admit Switch wins this round hahaha :P just kidding it's not really a battle, just rocking! :D

They're actually samples, which answers WinTang's question on what the drums were. I play drumset though, maybe you're interested in a drum solo? I dunno, hehehe
