Not bad.

I would have liked to hear more progression in the strings but definitly not bad. I could see this being used in a few flashs. It's nice relaxing music.

Hey man, where you been?

Haven't seen you online in a while. Anyway, I have to agree with darkside. It's good but this isn't one of your strongest pieces. I like the female choir. It sounds good and I like the snare but it doesn't quite have the epic feel alot of your other pieces have. The break down at the end is good but overall it doesn't build to the overwhelming intensity like alot of your other pieces do... But by no means is it bad but I'm not sure I like the techno bass drum tho, That's just more personal preference than anything tho. Hope you don't mind mind my honest review...

It's true, this isn't one of my better pieces, but it was a necessary piece to break out of my habit a little, you know, get some experience doing something different! In fact if I didn't make this song I would never have gotten acquinted with the power held from the trumpet, bassoon, both spiccato and legato (I didn't really know they existed either XD)

I purposely tried to keep away from epic, but even though I tried it still has traces of epic.

Believe it or not that was my best kick XD. I always use either timpini, melodic toms, or snares, t'was time for some kickage >:)

In any case, by no means do I find your honest review hurtful or unwanted. I welcome any and all thoughts, thank you for your honesty, for the review, and i'm also glad you liked it!

I'll try to be online more often, for the next week though I may not be, as finals are coming up!

Hmm... Nice.

Great track. I have to say tho that the guitar is alittle too tinny sounding for my liking like I've said before... but a great track none the less. Nice riffs and some pretty decent growling. I especially like the talking. Sounds very creepy...

Sounds like Slayer and Tool had a baby but those are two great bands so it's not a bad thing.

I know dude, I get online a little in the afternoons between 1-3.
The renos are finally picking up speed. You know the nightmares...and they haven't stopped. So im in the mudding phase now...which is going way WAY smoother..

So will be done very quickly.

Cubase is awesome...just haven't really had that much time to play with it lately...and with a baby comin within the week or two...Phew man...my free time gonna be toast.

Anyways dude, between 1-3 is the best times to catch me online...otherwise...:S.

Hey Killer-of-trolls thanks for the review how's that job been treating you? I actually recorded this using my amps distortion first but then I threw on a clean jazz setting in Guitar Rig. Since people like it so much I guess I will make it into a full tune.

Wow, Sounds like serious battle music. I like. I think you'd better off with some better samples as that cello doesn't sound real but it's still pretty good piece none the less. The drums in the begining sound alittle strange but it works well when it changes. Yeah pretty good piece can't wait to hear more from you.

ya i know that cello is pissing me off i cant really find any better sounds for it though. the reason i think the drums sound weird in the beginning is because of the polyrhythms i might simplify it. thanks for the review!

Wow... progressive metal

Finally some progressive metal on NG! Nice song. I wasn't sure what to expected in the begining, but once the heavy guitars came in I knew it would be alright. I really like your tone. What do you use to record?

haha thanks i thought it was too loud but apparently it came out alright? Well I use a Boss GT6 with cabinet simulators. Then a friend masters the mix I think he uses ozone or wavelab, not sure tho.
